Churro Protein Balls

It saddens me that there aren’t many places that sell churros anymore. I used to go to hockey games just so I can eat the churros there :p. I was craving churros the other day, so I decided to make this recipe!

Ingredients:

  • ground cinnamon (to taste)
  • coconut sugar (to taste)
  • 4 Scoops Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter (or any other nut butter)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Oat Flour
  • A few Tbsp of Water (depending on what kind of protein you use, you will need more or less water)

Directions:

  1. Blend all ingredients together except for sugar in food processor until it becomes dough-like
    spread on parchment paper and shape into balls
  2. Roll churro balls into cinnamon and sugar for a crunchy and sweet coating
